This week specialist sustainability recruitment company Acre joined over 3000 other organisations, charities and individuals at Tate Modern in London for the launch of 10:10 and pledged to reduce carbon emissions by 10% in 2010.

At Acre we have always tried to minimise our environmental impact and give something back to society. From using recycled and fair trade products to changing our office printer to allow double sided printing and even communicating with our landlord and other tenants to lower the emissions of our office building.

Being part of 10:10 has given us a tangible and achievable goal to aim for and I hope we can inspire members of XXX to sign up and take part in this valuable initiative which will hopefully have a meaningful impact on the battle against climate change.

Anyone can sign up to 10:10, it’s free and all you need to do is pledge to make every effort to reduce your own or your organisation’s carbon emissions and pass the 10:10 message on to others. Every pledge and every percent counts even if you don’t hit 10%.
