Join us at the Natural History Museum in London
where we will be looking at plant identification.
You will be introduced to five flowering plant
families, five grasses, five ferns and five mosses
and lichens.
These plants all grow in the wonderful Natural History
Museum garden and this day should inspire those
who are keen to get a glimpse of the spectacular
diversity of the plant kingdom and gain a basic
introduction to plant taxonomy.
Maximum 12 places. This event is open to those 18 and over only. Participants should be comfortable walking over rough ground and wear clothing suitable for the outdoors. Bring a packed lunch and flask. Suitable for those with little or some knowledge about wild plants.
